About

Does any of this sound familiar?

  • I am afraid of being left behind in the finance race and I am scared that I am doing it all wrong.
  • It would be so cool to see my parents’ face when I buy them a brand new car.
  • I want to be the most successful person at my college reunion.

If so, you’ve come to the right place.

Hi, I’m the founder of  What I Learnt on Wall Street, and I help Wall Street professionals become smarter, richer and happier.

After spending almost 18 years in finance, in New York and London and on both the sell side and buy side, I’ve learned EXACTLY what it takes for you to succeed.

Imagine:

    • Walking into a business meeting and instantly commanding the attention — and respect — of everyone in the room
    • Being the most successful analyst, associate, VP in your division.
    • Never having to worry about your next job, because the phone keeps ringing with offers.

I’m here to help you.

Are you ready to make it happen?

    Hello,

My name is Martin Donovan and I haven’t had time to fully delve into your website, but I love it already. I came to it after watching one of your WSO webinars. I like that you are not solely focused on hard skills, and that you also give wise life advice. Your attention to soft skills reminds me of one of my favorite podcasts called “The Art of Charm”. I highly recommend that you listen to some episodes, I have a strong feeling you will like it.

AoC was started with the intention of helping men improve socially; although it now has a large female audience as well. The show is hosted by Jordan Harbinger, and he interviews experts from a very divers set of backgrounds. I think you would be a perfect guest, and I am going to write a show suggestion email to Jordan.

    Thanks for everything you do,

    Martin
